A Growing Problem on Obesity In Children at an alarming rate

There are rising numbers of obesity in Children problems. Obesity in children usually means obesity when they become teens and adults. Families today live life in the fast lane and many don't take the time to prepare healthy meals for their children.

Obesity in children means proper care have not been taken by the parents. They are not giving proper nutrition; allow them to live as their own will and wish and they give packet money liberally to get their needs by themselves. Thus the children are going very often to the fast food restaurants and get more variety of foods and beverages. Children are not getting any regular exercise and spending time with television and computers. This kind of sedentary life style leads them to obesity which is now in very alarming situation and needs to be reiterated as war footing manner.

Prevention is better than cure

We all know that, usually, enforcing diet to the children is very impossible by the parents. But growing children are in need of healthy food .So that it is very important to take preventives measures not to affect with obesity in children. If we allow the obesity to the children, any efforts will not be fruitful up to their adult stage. Obesity in children will destroy the entire life of them. They will affect with so many serious diseases like type II diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, cardio vascular diseases etc., People should think that if our children are facing such difficulties how will run our peaceful life. Entire family life will be collapsed by this obesity in children.

There is a chance of obesity in children if ancestors are affected with obesity. Obesity in children requires awareness about good nutrition. Home made foods should have high nutritional content. Don't let them to avoid their favorite foods instead they may be allowed to take lesser quantity. Help the child understand why they cannot eat those foods everyday. When the child is old enough, let the child get involved in meal planning. You can coach them to make the correct choices while making the planning process a fun activity.

Activeness is necessary

Activity in childhood is very important to their health. Children should be brisk enough. Obesity in children is often the result of too little activity. Most of the children are getting late and spending the time with television in the week end. Children should be encouraged with physical activities like helping their parents in keeping the house clean and arranging their room and keep books neatly arranged. If they failed to have good behavior in their childhood, that can't be changed up to their adult age.

Obesity in children should be done by war footing manner. Because if a child is affected with obesity, that will continue in the entire life. And also obesity children have always been inactive and being neglected in the schools which has resulted to mental depression. They could not be able to have their studies regularly. If we let them with this obesity in children, we are inviting so many causes like type II diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and arthritis. Parent is a first teach and guardian of the children and they should be keep a keen watch on their children's health and thereby we can resist them from obesity in children.
